Principal Camera & Vision System Architect

About the role

Lead the architecture of the Camera and Vision subsystem for next‑generation high‑end MPU platforms, turning product use cases, customer requirements and workloads into scalable hardware and software solutions. You will serve as the bridge between product teams, core Camera/Vision technology, SoC architects and development groups, influencing senior leadership on technical and business trade‑offs.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end Camera and Vision subsystem architecture, defining processing flows, HW/SW/FW partitioning, interfaces, memory usage and verification requirements.
• Act as the architectural liaison between product, Camera/Vision core technology, SoC architecture and HW/SW development teams, presenting proposals and driving alignment with directors and vice presidents.
• Define performance budgets, resource allocation, workload models and system‑level trade‑offs, and guide the design through implementation, silicon bring‑up and product validation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing Camera, Imaging or Computer Vision subsystems for production SoCs or complex embedded platforms.
• Proven ability to translate algorithmic workloads into HW/SW/FW partitions, performance budgets and validation plans.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing senior cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Imaging Science or a related discipline.
