Data Analyst – Sports & FinTech Focus

About the role

We are a pioneering company that blends statistical modules and algorithms with a passion for sports, especially soccer. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our research department and support multiple internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the research team to understand the broader business context.
• Learn and operate the data‑gathering mechanisms used across the organization.
• Analyze data to solve business problems and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop complex logic flows to detect predefined events and generate targeted insights.
• Support researchers on their projects and provide analytical expertise.
• Conduct both recurring and ad‑hoc analyses for business stakeholders.
• Research and integrate new tools and methods to enrich existing datasets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong hands‑on SQL skills, preferably with SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and modeling.
• Solid knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques.
• Interest in FinTech or algorithmic trading is a plus.
• Passion for sports, particularly soccer, is an advantage.
