Controller

About the role

Particula is looking for a hands‑on Controller to own the financial close, reporting and controls for a fast‑growing, multi‑product company. You will work closely with the CFO, handling everything from monthly close to investor reporting while building out a scalable finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly and annual close process end‑to‑end.
• Manage payroll processing and related compliance.
• Prepare annual financial reports and statutory filings.
• Manage the annual audit process and relationships with external auditors.
• Prepare investor reports and support board/investor materials.
• Build and maintain financial controls and processes as the company scales.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting and cash management.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes, including AI tools.
• Oversee bookkeeping and accounts payable functions.

Required skills

• Israeli CPA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Israeli GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems used by Israeli startups (Priority, NetSuite, SAP Business One).
• Proven ability to adopt AI tools in day‑to‑day finance work.
• Tax reporting expertise, including VAT and corporate tax.
