Payroll Accountant – Corporate Team

About the role

As a Payroll Accountant on Infineon's Corporate team, you will ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with local regulations, and provide excellent support to employees and business stakeholders. You will work closely with Finance, HR, and external partners to maintain robust payroll frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate monthly payroll updates, including salary changes, bonuses, benefits, attendance data, and expense reimbursements.
• Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, and compliance checks to guarantee accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Prepare payroll accounting records, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and employee‑related liabilities such as vacation, severance, and bonus provisions.
• Generate payroll reports and analyses to support finance, management, and business decision‑making.
• Manage employee lifecycle payroll activities, including onboarding, terminations, tax documentation, and year‑end reporting.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as pension providers, benefits administrators, tax authorities, and equity‑plan trustees.
• Provide payroll support to employees while monitoring regulatory changes and driving process improvements.

Required profile

• Certified Payroll Accountant with a level‑3 bookkeeper certification and at least 5 years of professional payroll experience.
• Strong expertise in payroll regulations, tax reporting, employee benefits, and compliance requirements.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented mindset with excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Finance, HR, employees, benefits providers, and external authorities.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew.
