Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

About the role

The FP&A team partners with stakeholders across the business to drive financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision‑making. As Playamp expands globally, the team supports new business units, broader operations, and the company’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Build financial models to support business decisions and evaluate performance against plans.
• Prepare performance reports for regular leadership reviews and conduct variance analysis.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including automated reporting tools and dashboards.
• Conduct market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of business finance or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical, data‑gathering and business acumen.
• Comfort with ambiguity, ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

• Financial modeling techniques.
• Advanced Excel formulas and functions.
• Microsoft Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• AI tools: Claude and Gemini.
