Senior Firmware Architect – NVLink

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a dedicated NVLink Firmware Architect to join our engineering team in Israel. This role offers the chance to shape the future of data‑center and networking technology by developing the NVLink firmware stack and GPU‑scale networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of innovative networking applications that solve complex problems.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, innovations, and partner opportunities to align with NVIDIA’s strategic roadmap.
• Define the architecture of NVLink firmware running on GPUs and switches, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
• Collaborate with software and hardware architects to shape the strategic vision for NVIDIA networking.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in firmware design or firmware architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with strong academic performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven track record of thriving in collaborative, team‑oriented environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, cloud, and data‑center technologies.
• Experience programming computer networks.
• Strong understanding of system design principles.
