Hardware Engineer – RF Design & Integration

About the role

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and integrate RF circuits and sub‑systems from concept through mass production, ensuring high‑performance radio frequency systems for mission‑critical TETRA and public safety cellular devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate RF circuits and sub‑systems from concept through mass production.
• Perform hands‑on testing, debugging, and root‑cause analysis of RF boards using advanced lab equipment.
• Evaluate and optimize RF performance critical to wireless and cellular communication (e.g., impedance matching, output power, receiver sensitivity, EVM, ACLR, and emissions).
• Review complex electronic schematics and guide PCB layout for high‑frequency RF circuits.
• Collaborate with system, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless integration of cellular modules and RF components.
• Investigate and resolve complex RF hardware issues in new developments and legacy products.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of proven hands‑on experience in RF hardware design, board‑level testing, or integration.
• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, circuit theory, and components such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, transceivers, and duplexers.
• Familiarity with 3GPP specifications, cellular frequency bands, and radio testing parameters (advantage).
• Experience operating cellular communication testers (e.g., R&S CMW500, Anritsu MT8821C/MT8000A) – advantage.
• Experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, CST, HFSS) – advantage.
