Analog Hardware Team Leader

About the role

SolarEdge is seeking a senior analog hardware professional to lead a team of engineers responsible for the analog and communication circuits that power our solar inverters and optimizers. This hands‑on leadership position combines deep technical work with mentorship and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a group of hardware engineers through the full analog design lifecycle.
• Research, design, simulate and develop analog and communication circuits from concept to mass production.
• Conduct lab characterization and verification using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies and electronic loads.
• Own design reviews and act as the technical authority for analog hardware within the team.
• Collaborate with software, system, mechanical and production teams to ensure seamless integration and manufacturability.
• Manage project scope, schedule, risk and product quality for assigned initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in discrete analog hardware and board design.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Hands‑on expertise with laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies and electronic loads.

Required skills

• Analog circuit design, including passive and active filters and op‑amp topologies.
• PCB layout.
• PSpice or LTspice simulation (advantage).
• Specialization in RF, communication or power electronics (advantage).
• Python programming (advantage).
