Offshore Operator – EMED

About the role

The Operator oversees daily production at an offshore facility, applying a safety‑first mindset and continuous improvement attitude. The role requires ownership of equipment performance, hazard identification and sharing lessons learned to ensure optimal operation of all plant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant equipment, performing both routine and non‑routine tasks while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Conduct toolbox talks, last‑minute risk assessments and follow COW processes for specific activities.
• Troubleshoot basic operational problems and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
• Respond to unplanned events, assess impact on equipment and operations, and execute appropriate safety measures.
• Maintain production supplies inventory and record keeping, including surface staining identification on tanks and equipment.

Required profile

• Previous experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems (required).
• Physical ability to perform routine maintenance (required).
• Experience with rotating or fixed equipment (advantage).
• Hazmat PIC, rigger/slinger certifications (advantage).
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic system operation.
• Familiarity with rotating and fixed equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in SAP, D2 document control, Enablon (E‑PTW) and Bluebeam Revu.
• Understanding of MOC and RIK processes, hazard analysis and stop‑work authority.
• Ability to read and interpret as‑built P&ID, SAFE charts and cause‑and‑effect diagrams.
• Basic analysis of Process Safety Management (PSM) data.
