Analog Hardware Team Leader

About the role

SolarEdge is looking for a senior analog hardware engineer to lead a team that designs the analog and communication circuits at the core of its solar inverters and optimizers. You will guide projects from concept through mass production, ensuring robust, high‑performance hardware that integrates seamlessly with software and system teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of hardware engineers across analog circuit design, simulation, and testing.
• Research, design, and develop analog and communication circuits, from requirements through to mass production.
• Run lab characterization and verification of analog circuits using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment.
• Own design reviews and serve as the professional authority for the team’s engineering discipline.
• Collaborate with software, system, and production teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration and smooth transfer to manufacturing.
• Manage technical scope, schedule, risk, and product quality across the team’s projects.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in discrete analog hardware and board design.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Proven hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.

Required skills

• Analog circuit design, including passive and active filters and op‑amp topologies.
• PCB layout.
• PSpice / LTspice simulation.
• RF communication circuit expertise (advantage).
• Power electronics knowledge (advantage).
• Python programming (advantage).
• Spectrum analyzer operation.
• Oscilloscope operation.
• Power supply testing.
• Electronic load testing.
