Director of Marketing – Stealth Cyber Startup

About the role

We are a fast‑growing stealth cybersecurity startup backed by Team8, seeking our first marketing hire. As Director of Marketing you will shape the brand, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategy from the ground up, working directly with product, research, and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and build the company’s positioning, messaging, and brand story from scratch.
• Lead product marketing, translating complex technical capabilities into clear market‑facing content.
• Design and execute early‑stage demand‑generation campaigns across digital channels.
• Own end‑to‑end event and conference strategy, including sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and post‑event engagement.
• Develop the company’s presence in the cybersecurity community through content, social media, partnerships, and thought leadership.
• Establish marketing infrastructure, including branding, website, tools, and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B cybersecurity marketing roles.
• Strong background in product marketing and demand generation.
• Technical fluency sufficient to converse with security researchers, CISOs, and product engineers.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build functions from zero.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work onsite in Tel Aviv as part of a founding team.
