Senior Product Content Manager

About the role

Empathy is building a platform that supports people through life’s most emotionally charged moments, from caregiving to loss support. As a Senior Product Content Manager you will enhance the product content offering, guiding users both emotionally and practically during these hard transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex content projects from concept to launch, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Manage end‑to‑end content production workflows, including strategy, freelance coordination, and delivery.
• Draft, edit, and refine in‑product content such as written guides, audio guides, care‑plan steps, and meditations.
• Maintain brand voice, messaging, and storytelling consistency across the product area.
• Adapt core messaging for different audiences, products, and partner contexts.
• Leverage AI tools for content research, ideation, drafting, and workflow optimisation.
• Partner with Product Managers, Design, and Data/Analytics to align on user needs and goals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in product, content, UX, or communications.
• Native‑level English with exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Deep empathy and sensitivity when addressing grief, illness, caregiving, and other emotionally difficult topics.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
• Self‑directed work style: can define problems, prioritize, and deliver results without constant direction.
• Hands‑on experience writing and editing, as well as managing freelance contributors.
• Understanding of product design/flow and user‑experience principles.
• Proven use of AI tools to materially increase copy output, speed, or testing velocity.
• Experience measuring content performance, using user insights, testing methodologies, and optimisation frameworks.
• Excellent organisational skills for handling multiple projects, deadlines, and review cycles.
• Background writing for mental health, bereavement, or other sensitive topics.
