Unity Developer

About the role

Moon Active is seeking an experienced Unity Developer with an AI‑first mindset to create next‑generation gaming features. You will work alongside a high‑scale engineering team, leveraging large language models (LLMs) to enhance real‑time game systems, automate workflows, and continuously improve development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage features from system design and data handling through to production deployment.
• Design architectures and implement end‑to‑end client‑side features, incorporating LLMs into daily development and overall system design.
• Apply data‑driven methods to resolve production issues and optimise performance across all devices.
• Integrate native plugins and third‑party services into Unity projects.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.
• Strong object‑oriented programming background, including design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficient in C# (or equivalent) with solid memory‑management knowledge.
• Self‑driven, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Experience with Unity on mobile platforms, including scripting APIs, profiling tools, UI, and animations.
