System Administrator

About the role

Reline, a Managed Service Provider in Israel, is looking for a System Engineer to join its technical core. You will own the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of client IT infrastructures, focusing on cloud, hybrid environments and information security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain on‑premises servers (Windows/Linux), networks, virtualization and hybrid cloud environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and Entra ID, with hybrid identity setups.
• Implement and operate information‑security solutions such as EDR/XDR platforms, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation and incident response.
• Design and execute backup and recovery strategies using Acronis and Keepit, including retention policies and test restores.
• Lead end‑to‑end projects: scoping, planning, execution and handover of cloud migrations, infrastructure roll‑outs, office relocations and security deployments.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders, conduct status meetings, present solutions and provide technical consulting.
• Monitor environments via RMM/PSA tools (Atera), handle incidents and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Document client environments in SharePoint to ensure knowledge continuity.

Required profile

• Comfortable communicating technical concepts to non‑technical clients.
• Systems thinking – addressing root causes and preventing recurrence.
• Strong personal accountability and ability to close loops without supervision.
• Team‑oriented mindset: thorough documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP.
• Virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Microsoft 365 administration – Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, hybrid identity.
• EDR/XDR solutions: Sophos, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike.
• Firewalls and network security: Sophos, Fortinet, VPN, network segmentation, policy design.
• Backup solutions: Acronis, Keepit.
• RMM/PSA platforms – experience with Atera (plus ConnectWise, Datto a plus).
