About the role
Google’s Waze team is looking for a Software Engineer II to develop and enhance the iOS version of the Waze navigation app. You will work on cutting‑edge mobile technologies, collaborating with designers and product managers to improve the user experience for millions of drivers worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced features for the Waze iOS app.
- Experiment with innovative mobile technologies.
- Improve overall user experience on iOS.
- Collaborate with visual designers, prototypers and product managers.
- Participate in regular design reviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with iOS application development.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 1 year of iOS development experience, familiarity with Swift or Objective‑C.
