Senior System Administrator

About the role

SpotNet is seeking a Senior System Administrator to own and operate its core infrastructure and the environments of its customers. You will manage virtualization platforms, enterprise SaaS services, and Microsoft ecosystems while acting as the top escalation point for complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Administer VMware and Proxmox virtualization across multiple sites and customer environments, including backup with Veeam and PBS.
• Manage enterprise SaaS tools such as EDR, RMM, email security, MFA, and DNS records.
• Fully operate Microsoft 365 and Intune, creating security policies and automation.
• Serve as Tier 3‑4 escalation for IT and NOC teams on server and Microsoft 365 problems.
• Build and scale servers, Microsoft 365, storage, and cloud resources for customers.
• Maintain Dell and IBM storage systems, Zadara cloud, and monitor with Zabbix.
• Perform version, security, and firmware updates on servers, storage, and backup solutions.
• Handle SSL certificates and domain management for the company and its clients.
• Document procedures, configurations, and changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of system administration experience.
• Proven experience as a senior escalation tier (Tier 3‑4) supporting IT or NOC teams.
• Availability for urgent issues outside regular hours.
• Strong service orientation and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Microsoft environments: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune.
• Virtualization: VMware, Proxmox.
• Backup and monitoring: Veeam, Zabbix.
• Enterprise SaaS tools: EDR, RMM, email security, MFA, DNS management.
• Storage and cloud: Dell, IBM, Zadara.
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell.
• Linux server knowledge (advantage).
