Senior System Administrator – Infrastructure & Cloud

About the role

SpotNet, a B2B ISP and network security integrator, is seeking a Senior System Administrator to own and operate its core infrastructure and customer environments. The role involves managing virtualization platforms, enterprise SaaS services, and Microsoft ecosystems while acting as the top escalation tier for IT and NOC teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer VMware and Proxmox virtualization across multiple sites and customer environments, including backup management with Veeam and PBS.
• Manage enterprise SaaS solutions such as EDR, RMM, email security, MFA, DNS and related services.
• Full lifecycle management of Microsoft 365 and Intune, including security policies, automations, and user provisioning.
• Serve as Tier 3‑4 escalation point for complex server, Microsoft 365, and infrastructure issues.
• Build and scale servers, storage, and Microsoft 365 resources for customer deployments.
• Maintain Dell and IBM storage systems, Zadara cloud storage, and monitor infrastructure with Zabbix.
• Perform version, security, and firmware updates on servers, storage, and backup platforms.
• Handle SSL certificates and domain configurations for the company and its clients.
• Document procedures, configurations, and change logs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of system administration experience.
• Proven experience as a senior escalation tier (Tier 3‑4) supporting IT or NOC teams.
• Availability for urgent issues outside regular working hours.
• Strong independence, service orientation, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune.
• VMware and/or Proxmox virtualization platforms.
• Backup solutions Veeam and PBS.
• Monitoring with Zabbix.
• Dell and IBM storage systems, Zadara cloud storage.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Linux server fundamentals (knowledge).
