Senior Software Engineer - C++ Embedded Systems (Autonomous Driving)

About the role

Join Mobileye's Road Experience Management (REM) team to build the in‑vehicle HD map platform that powers autonomous driving. You will work on embedded software, large‑scale map data, and performance‑critical components that enable reliable navigation and route calculation inside vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance C++ software for embedded automotive systems.
• Implement infrastructure for HD map download, caching, storage, and distribution across vehicle ECUs.
• Create efficient APIs and communication protocols for map consumers.
• Develop map‑based algorithms such as routing and lane‑network generation.
• Optimize software for CPU usage, memory footprint, latency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with algorithm, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience developing production‑grade C++ software.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design and software architecture.
• Experience with embedded or performance‑critical software development.
• Excellent debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to lead complex technical tasks independently.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
