Senior SEO Specialist (Generative Engine Optimization)

About the role

Fiverr is looking for a senior SEO specialist who will shape and execute the company’s global organic growth strategy. You will work on complex marketplace dynamics and emerging AI‑driven search experiences to drive scalable traffic for the core Fiverr marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the SEO roadmap across international markets, focusing on both classic rankings and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, content and marketing teams to ensure SEO recommendations are correctly implemented.
• Monitor, analyze and act on large‑scale data sets to prioritize high‑impact initiatives.
• Stay current with algorithm updates, core web vitals, and AI‑powered search surfaces such as Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT.
• Build scalable processes and documentation to embed SEO best practices throughout the organization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SEO experience in an international e‑commerce or marketplace environment.
• Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in fast‑moving teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Technical SEO expertise (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Core Web Vitals).
• Proficiency with web analytics, keyword research and SEO tools.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI as it relates to search (GEO, AI Overviews, LLM‑powered discovery).
• Experience optimizing for AI‑driven search experiences.
