Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Matia is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers its data platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable services while driving automation across the entire delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud resources on AWS using Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable environments.
• Own end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines, optimizing build, test and deployment speed and reliability.
• Operate and scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, managing container workloads, networking and storage.
• Implement observability solutions, including monitoring, logging and alerting, to maintain platform health.
• Enforce security and compliance standards across IAM, VPC, and vulnerability management.
• Partner with software engineers to improve application performance, containerization strategies and database reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps or SRE experience in a high‑growth SaaS or data‑intensive environment.
• Proven track record running production workloads on AWS services such as EKS, RDS, S3, IAM and VPC.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑starter mindset eager to solve complex infrastructure challenges.
