Quantum Processor Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Quantum Processor Architect to define the architecture of next‑generation superconducting quantum processors. You will work in our Tel Aviv R&D hub, shaping performance, scalability and manufacturability of flagship quantum hardware deployed worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design qubit and processor‑level architectures for superconducting quantum chips.
• Define coupling, control and readout strategies across the processor.
• Analyze trade‑offs between coherence, connectivity and control complexity.
• Collaborate closely with fabrication, control electronics and calibration teams to guide hardware road‑maps.
• Provide technical leadership and make architecture decisions that balance performance and manufacturability.

Required profile

• PhD in quantum hardware, superconducting circuits, or equivalent industry experience.
• Deep understanding of transmon‑based architectures or similar platforms.
• Proven experience with system‑level design and quantitative trade‑off analysis.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving, results‑oriented environment.
