Superconducting Qubit Design Engineer – Quantum Processor

About the role

We are looking for a Superconducting Qubit Design Engineer to join our Tel Aviv R&D centre. You will lead the detailed design and simulation of qubits, resonators and couplers that form the core of our quantum processors, working closely with fabrication and measurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design superconducting qubits, resonators and couplers for quantum processors.
• Perform electromagnetic and circuit‑level simulations to evaluate performance.
• Optimize designs for coherence, tunability, fabrication yield and low loss.
• Analyze loss mechanisms and noise sources to improve device quality.
• Collaborate with fabrication, measurement and software teams throughout the development cycle.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with superconducting circuits and microwave design.
• Familiarity with EM simulation tools such as HFSS, Sonnet or COMSOL.
