Faculty HR Manager

About the role

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is looking for an experienced HR professional to lead the HR function for its Faculty of Health Sciences. This strategic, people‑focused role will shape the employee experience across the entire faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement the faculty’s HR strategy and policies.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, employee relations, compensation updates, retention and off‑boarding.
• Partner with senior managers, providing strategic HR guidance and support.
• Lead organizational development initiatives, change management and employee engagement programs.
• Manage the faculty HR team and drive annual HR work plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources, Behavioral Sciences or Psychology); Master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of HR experience in a medium‑sized organization, including leadership of core HR functions.
• Previous experience managing HR professionals.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leadership and leading strategic HR initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of organizational development and labor law.
