Engineering Manager – Figma Weave

About the role

Figma is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Figma Weave team in Tel Aviv. You will help shape the future of AI‑native design tools, partnering with product, design, data, marketing and go‑to‑market teams to deliver innovative features that enhance creativity while maintaining the precision and craft users love.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design to define and execute a long‑term roadmap for Figma Weave.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and other engineering teams to expand AI‑driven creative capabilities.
• Hire, manage, mentor, and develop a high‑performing engineering team, including staff‑level engineers.
• Establish trust and accountability across teams, fostering a positive work environment.
• Contribute to the growth and scaling of the Weave engineering organization.
• Promote an inclusive culture through hiring practices, mentorship, and community programs.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience hiring and leading engineering teams.
• Strategic thinker able to balance short‑term delivery with long‑term product vision.
• Hands‑on technical background with experience building complex products and systems.
• Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and guide senior engineers and attract top talent.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with Product, Design, Marketing and other engineering groups.
