DevOps Infra/Cloud Engineer (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions, is seeking a DevOps Infra/Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and support moderately complex DevOps and infrastructure solutions for both on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support DevOps and infrastructure solutions for on‑premises and cloud‑based environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation components following best practices.
• Support containerized applications, troubleshoot and optimise deployment workflows.
• Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and configuration‑management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and system integration issues of moderate complexity.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with software engineers, IT, and DevOps teams to ensure application integration and operational stability.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software/Systems Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or infrastructure‑related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and workflows on Linux and/or Windows platforms.
• Basic scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud or virtualised environments such as AWS, Azure, or VMware.
