Data Center Operations Manager – Global Server Operations

About the role

The Data Center Operations Manager leads a team of technicians across multiple third‑party data centre sites, ensuring high‑quality installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of server and network infrastructure. The role requires up to 50% travel, non‑standard hours, and responsibility for fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of data centre technicians.
• Coordinate complex server and network installations across several locations.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring SLA and availability targets are met.
• Maintain environmental, safety and compliance standards.
• Develop project contingency plans and drive vendor/contract management.
• Implement and promote a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical, vendor or delivery teams.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and shift‑based schedules.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience in data centre environments and global initiative execution.
