CyOps Analyst

About the role

As a CyOps Analyst you will work within Cynet’s Security Operations Center to investigate alerts generated by the Cynet platform, detect threats and conduct live incident response. You will collaborate closely with the Research team to uncover new attack vectors and enhance threat‑hunting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts from the Cynet platform and classify malware based on known threats.
• Perform live incident response engagements and produce threat‑intelligence and malware analysis reports.
• Conduct advanced threat hunting for global clients, complementing standard SOC services.
• Execute analysis and forensics on security threats, malware and attacks using industry‑standard tools.
• Work in a 24/7 SOC environment, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of technical experience in network, IT or cybersecurity.
• Ability to work shifts in a 24/7 SOC service.
• Strong analytical mindset with creative problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Understanding of network architecture and protocols such as HTTP and DNS.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools including firewalls, IDS, SIEM and endpoint protection solutions.
