C++ Software Engineer – NAS Group

About the role

Infinidat, a Lenovo company, is seeking a passionate C++ Software Engineer to join its NAS team. You will work on high‑performance, multi‑threaded, clustered storage products that power enterprise and service‑provider environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for NAS, including file‑system management.
• Implement and optimise network file‑sharing protocols such as NFSv3/4, SMB/CIFS and S3.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance, data‑integrity and reliability issues in clustered environments.
• Collaborate with QA, product management and other R&D groups (Core, UI/CLI, management API, platform/HW).
• Write clean, well‑tested, maintainable C++ code and participate in code reviews.
• Improve code quality using Python test suites, code‑coverage tools, static analysis and memory‑leak detection.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions around scalability, high availability and fault tolerance.
• Monitor and enhance system performance under high I/O and concurrent access.
• Document technical designs, APIs and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of professional C++ development experience.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
• Team player with leadership potential and a high level of self‑motivation.
• Ability to understand and navigate a large existing code‑base.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve existing skills.
