DevOps Engineer

About the role

CommBox is a CX AI platform that enables enterprises to deliver intelligent, automated, and personalized customer experiences across all digital channels. As a DevOps Engineer you will keep high‑traffic production environments fast, reliable, and secure while leveraging modern tooling and a strong bias toward automation. The ideal candidate treats AI as a force multiplier, constantly exploring new tools to eliminate toil and accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including automated testing, linting, and security gates.
• Operate and evolve GitOps workflows with ArgoCD as the source of truth for cluster state.
• Manage multi‑account AWS environments with Infrastructure as Code, optimizing performance and security.
• Run and troubleshoot Kubernetes (EKS) workloads and contribute to shared Helm charts that enforce security and compliance.
• Handle performance, scale, and security challenges, providing root‑cause analysis for production incidents.
• Leverage AI tools—coding assistants, AIOps, automation—to accelerate delivery, script development, incident diagnosis, and routine workflows.
• Continuously identify and automate repetitive manual work, improving reliability, observability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with R&D to optimize service performance, deployment reliability, failover, and scaling.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE/Platform engineer in a high‑scale, high‑traffic environment.
• Strong background with AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM).
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and GitOps tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
