DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

Fire-Arc is an innovative, data‑driven technology company that creates multi‑platform digital assets. As a DevOps Engineer you will own and optimise our cloud infrastructure, automation, and production reliability in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS (with GCP exposure as an advantage).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and infrastructure changes, preferably using CircleCI.
• Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate scripting, infrastructure automation, CI/CD configuration and troubleshooting.
• Automate provisioning and management with Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Automate configuration management and system provisioning with Ansible.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, scalability and reliability.
• Configure and maintain networking components such as proxies, DNS, load balancers, VPNs and cloud networking.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (advantageous).
• 3+ years hands‑on DevOps experience building and maintaining production environments.
• 3+ years hands‑on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/ECR, EKS, Lambda, IAM, VPC).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt and Ansible.
• 2+ years Python scripting experience for automation and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, load balancing, VPN).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and troubleshooting of containerised workloads.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving and analytical skills, with strong communication in English.
