AI Security Team Leader (Backend Focus)

Ox Security is building the future of cybersecurity for the AI era. We are looking for an AI Security Team Leader with a strong backend focus to lead the development of our AI security product, VIBESEC. You will work in a fast‑moving startup environment, collaborating closely with product, design and other engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, customer‑centric security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high‑performing engineering team developing next‑gen AI security products.
• Translate business and customer requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate end‑to‑end with Product, Design and R&D teams on cross‑functional projects.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship, stepping in to ensure sound technical decisions.
• Own execution, quality and delivery of products running on endpoints and cloud environments.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience leading software development teams.
• 5+ years of hands‑on backend development experience.
• Strong ownership, independence and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to guide technical decisions for complex systems.

Required skills

• Backend development using high‑level programming languages.
• Microservices architecture.
• Cybersecurity concepts, especially endpoint agent development.
• Experience with cloud runtime environments.
