About the role
Alstom is looking for a Cyber Design Manager to organise and manage cybersecurity activities across projects and programmes in Israel. The role ensures that security objectives, risk analyses and architecture definitions are integrated throughout the development life‑cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse project and programme security needs, define objectives and assess main security risks in line with local regulations.
- Plan and cost security activities, allocate requirements to suppliers, and manage third‑party risks.
- Define cybersecurity architecture, operating procedures and oversee vulnerability and incident management.
- Provide technical support in design meetings, obtain customer agreement on security measures and report status to stakeholders.
- Lead a team of 1‑5 cybersecurity engineers and ensure no “NO GO” decisions for security reasons during gate reviews.
Required profile
- University engineering degree; recognised cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, GICSP, GSEC).
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing information security in national and international projects, including OT/IT protection.
- Israeli citizenship and security clearance level 3 or 4; fluent in English and Hebrew.
Required skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards: ISO 27001/27002, IEC 62443, NIST, NIS, French LPM.
- Experience with risk analysis methods and cybersecurity architecture design.
- Hands‑on deployment of security technologies for embedded and industrial systems.
- Protection of OT/IT infrastructures in transport or similar sectors.
