Web Developer (Marketing Site Lead)

About the role

Riverside is looking for a Web Developer to own and lead the end‑to‑end delivery of its marketing website. This hybrid role blends hands‑on development with coordination of external freelancers, ensuring the site is fast, scalable, and aligned with brand and SEO goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own the website work pipeline and act as the single point of intake for requests from marketing, product, brand, and other teams.
• Scope, classify, and prioritize tasks, deciding what to build, delegate, or defer.
• Manage a team of 2‑3 freelance web developers, run sprints, assign work, review deliverables, and enforce quality and deadlines.
• Lead the ground‑up rebuild of riverside.com on Webflow, defining CMS architecture, migration strategy, and coordinating design, content, SEO, and development workstreams.
• Build responsive, pixel‑perfect pages from Figma designs and maintain Webflow CMS structures.
• Own site performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, CRO, and accessibility best practices.
• Contribute to platform and architecture decisions as the tech stack evolves.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building production‑grade commercial websites.
• Strong ownership, independence, and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate vague requests into clear tasks.
• Highly organized and process‑driven, comfortable with boards, sprints, and priority tracking.

Required skills

• Deep hands‑on experience with Webflow, including complex builds, CMS architecture, and integrations.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with analytics and tagging tools such as Segment, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• Proficiency in translating Figma designs into responsive web pages.
• Knowledge of site performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, SEO, CRO, and accessibility.
