Vice President of Finance (Pharma)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to lead the financial strategy of a fast‑growing pharmaceutical company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape financial planning, reporting, and controls while supporting key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s finance function and overall financial strategy.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and long‑term financial planning.
• Oversee financial reporting, accounting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and business insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other external partners.
• Develop and implement financial processes, controls, and infrastructure to support growth.
• Support strategic initiatives, investments, financing activities, and business expansion.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• CPA certification (mandatory).
• Significant senior finance leadership experience as a VP Finance, Finance Director, or CFO.
• Proven experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, life‑sciences, healthcare, or food‑production industry.
• Strong commercial orientation and ability to support a growing or international organization.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.
