Supply Chain Planning Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Team Lead to drive end‑to‑end production and material planning for a global high‑tech organization. The role is highly hands‑on, working across supply chain, procurement, engineering and manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production and material planning activities across global manufacturing sites and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain production plans that align demand, capacity and delivery requirements.
• Own material readiness, MRP processes and monitor inventory to support continuous production.
• Partner with Procurement to manage purchase orders, supplier lead times, shortages and expediting.
• Drive shortage mitigation, recovery plans and material allocation for critical and long‑lead items.
• Ensure Bill of Materials and production readiness in collaboration with Engineering and Operations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, capacity and schedules, identifying risks proactively.
• Provide operational visibility on WIP, inventory, supply availability and recovery status.
• Support new product introductions, production ramp‑up and transition to volume manufacturing.
• Lead cross‑functional discussions and enforce accountability across a matrix organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, production or material planning, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
• Proven track record working with contract manufacturers, subcontractors and global supply chains.
• Strong analytical, organizational and systems‑thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
