Strategic Account Executive - Israel

About the role

Datadog is looking for a Strategic Account Executive in Israel. The role targets and closes new business with the company's largest and most strategic customers and prospects, uncovering the pain points organizations face when operating in or migrating to a cloud environment at scale and delivering the right Datadog solution. The position involves regular travel to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
• Maintain, build and own relationship maps for the territory, including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
• Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business
• Negotiate pricing and business terms by selling value and ROI
• Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth in the territory
• Identify the business drivers behind every opportunity and ensure accurate, consistent forecasting

Required profile

• 5+ years of closing experience, mixing field selling in mid-market and enterprise
• Has met or exceeded direct sales goals of 1M+ with an average deal size of $100k+
• Able to prospect and build pipeline independently
• Experience selling to large Fortune 1000 companies and winning new logos
• Experience in an innovative tech company (SaaS, IT infrastructure or similar preferred)
