Staff Software Engineer (Veza/Armis)

About the role

ServiceNow is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Veza/Armis team in Tel Aviv. Armis protects the entire attack surface and manages cyber risk exposure in real time, and the role builds a robust infrastructure integrated with the Armis platform to acquire network insights. The engineer designs, develops and maintains out-of-the-box modules, algorithms and extensions alongside highly talented colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a data-intensive infrastructure of traffic analysis and association.
• Conduct research to define solutions and assess their effectiveness, based on customer data and technical investigation.
• Help solve complex customer issues and scale issues with the company's solutions and platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• Production, enterprise-level systems development and maintenance experience.
• System architecture experience and ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
• Experience with performance and high-scale systems.
• Team player mentality, sense of ownership and urgency, versatility and eagerness to learn.

Required skills

• In-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and network architectures.
• Experience with network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless LAN controllers.
