Software Team Leader – Domain Team

About the role

AppsFlyer is seeking a hands‑on engineering leader to head the Domain Team within the SaaSLab group. The team owns core entities such as accounts, apps, and users, and drives the onboarding experience for millions of API calls daily.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth in design, architecture, and technical craft.
• Own end‑to‑end reliability, security, and operational excellence of core domain systems.
• Drive design and delivery of scalable backend systems, including decoupling from legacy stores and adopting modern patterns like GraphQL Federation.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure timely, high‑quality deliveries.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews while steering technical initiatives.
• Promote AI‑powered tools and modern SDLC practices to boost team velocity and quality.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience managing engineers or technical teams.
• 6+ years of development and design experience with strong backend engineering skills.
• Experience with high‑scale, distributed cloud‑based architectures and architectural migrations.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills for working with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Proven track record of recruiting and managing high‑performing engineers.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
