Software Engineer – Power Thermal & Performance Tools

About the role

Intel is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join the Power Thermal and Performance (PTP) Post‑Silicon organization in Haifa. You will design, develop, and maintain innovative tools and flows that directly impact Intel’s silicon products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support software tools, flows, and methodologies in the power and performance domain.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement new solutions.
• Ensure robustness and reliability through comprehensive testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and improve existing software to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Use version‑control systems and follow best practices for continuous integration and deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python (or other leading programming languages).
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
• Familiarity with version‑control systems (e.g., Git).
• Comfort working with software development environments and collaborative tools.
