DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our Haifa site and support a defense‑oriented environment. You will help build, secure, and scale critical infrastructure while gaining experience in cluster security, observability, and platform engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in both connected and air‑gapped environments.
• Administer and harden Linux servers according to organizational security standards.
• Write automation scripts and contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Collaborate with R&D, Security, and IT teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure.
• Continuously learn advanced topics like cluster security, observability, and platform engineering.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (strong advantage).
• 2‑3 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Familiarity with security hardening, vulnerability scanning, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
