Software Engineer

About the role

Capitolis is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Software Engineer to design and deliver fast, scalable, and secure solutions for its financial‑technology platform. The role involves close collaboration with product managers and various R&D groups to drive architectural decisions and bring features from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design software according to agreed standards, architecture, and requirements.
• Plan and build creative, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Work closely with product managers to define and implement roadmap features.
• Contribute to and drive technological and architectural decisions.
• Interface with various R&D and support groups.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent (M.Sc. is a plus).
• At least 4 years of experience in Java server‑side development, including cloud services (preferably AWS).
• Proven ability to build complex, large‑scale software solutions from scratch to live production.
• Strong analytical skills, self‑starter attitude, and excellent English communication.
