About the role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join NVIDIA’s ChipSim team, building software systems that validate next‑generation datacenter GPUs before silicon is produced. The role involves creating simulation platforms for networking features such as NVLink and InfiniBand, enabling parallel development across firmware, driver, and architecture groups.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain simulation models for upcoming NVIDIA networking hardware.
- Build validation frameworks and test suites for InfiniBand and NVLink protocol implementations.
- Create automation tools and CI/CD pipelines for regression testing and result analysis.
- Design developer‑friendly simulation environments that support rapid iteration and debugging.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure accurate chip behavior modeling.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience programming in Python and C within systems or infrastructure contexts.
- Strong debugging skills across multiple system layers.
- Proficiency with Linux systems programming.
- Creative, motivated and able to work collaboratively in a team.
