IT Helpdesk Specialist – Tel Aviv

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure team in Tel Aviv. You will be the first point of contact for roughly 1,200 corporate users, providing Tier 1–2 support for Windows endpoints, servers and cloud services while also assisting remote users across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops and Windows Server 2016‑2022 environments.
• Manage user accounts, groups and permissions in Active Directory.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Assist with device enrollment, configuration and troubleshooting via Microsoft Intune.
• Handle FortiGate VPN client support and basic network connectivity issues.
• Set up and configure workstations for new employees during onboarding.
• Log, track and resolve tickets in the help‑desk ticketing system.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior IT team members.
• Support peripheral devices including printers, monitors, docking stations and mobile devices.
• Participate in planning and delivering IT projects alongside day‑to‑day support activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support/help‑desk role within a medium‑to‑large organization (500+ users).
• Strong troubleshooting skills on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 suite and Active Directory user management.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN).
• Experience supporting hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals) and basic imaging/re‑imaging.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Hebrew and working proficiency in English.
• Ability to train end‑users on PC, Windows and application issues.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Beer Sheva sites.

• Basic PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• FortiGate VPN client configuration and support.
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) and Citrix Workspace client.
