Software Developer – Cloud Firewall & AI Security

About the role

Join Check Point's Cloud Firewall Security Private Cloud & Licensing team to design and develop enterprise network security solutions for private clouds, leveraging AI and hybrid‑cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and innovate products that transform Software‑Defined Data Center (SDDC) security and hybrid cloud.
• Collaborate with public and private cloud providers such as VMware NSX, Cisco ACI, Nutanix, AWS, and Azure.
• Enhance existing Cloud Firewall licensing solutions.
• Design, gather requirements, implement, and expand architectural components while working closely with developers, QA engineers, other functions, and customers.
• Maintain internal infrastructure, handling CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and other Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Integrate AI and LLM technologies to improve product functionality and performance.
• Provide R&D technical support to customers and participate in training sessions.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) methodologies and frameworks.
• At least 1 year of experience as a software developer.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (OSI model, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
• Understanding of networking cryptography (advantage).
• Experience developing in a Linux environment, including Bash scripting.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multitasked environment.
