About the role
GE HealthCare is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its MI Software Development department in Haifa. You will take part in software design, implementation and testing across the full SDLC, working with multidisciplinary teams on innovative PET/CT and SPECT/CT medical devices.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a well-regarded institution.
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience using Java.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design and Programming.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Self-driven, organized, proactive and able to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Java with advanced frameworks such as Spring.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multi-threading concepts.
- Desirable: C++ development, Linux, web development with Angular, HTML5 and JavaScript, and software architecture experience.
- A strong asset: prior experience in the medical devices industry.
