Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & Data Platforms

About the role

MiniMed is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement software, security solutions, and data pipelines for its diabetes therapy devices. You will work with a cross‑functional team to shape product direction and deliver data‑driven therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Build production‑scale, robust infrastructure for medical devices.
• Lead design of complex data flows and security solutions.
• Design and implement cloud architecture for data collection and processing.
• Explore and introduce new technologies to advance systems and therapy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Full‑Stack or Backend development experience.
• Experience running production workloads on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Background in large‑scale data processing pipelines.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent military experience.

Required skills

• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, React.
• Kubernetes, Serverless architectures, Stream Processing, Terraform.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Advanced cybersecurity solutions for IoT systems (advantage).
