AI Engineering Manager – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to lead its Infrastructure and Security team. The role combines technical delivery, security‑by‑design, and enterprise AI architecture across a global, distributed organization.

Key responsibilities

• Run agile delivery teams to unify and scale AI efforts, delivering enterprise AI solutions.
• Integrate automated security controls into Micron’s AI ecosystem, including CI/CD pipelines and data classification.
• Translate business challenges into actionable technical strategies with rapid, high‑impact outcomes.
• Define enterprise AI architecture, select frameworks, and create reusable development patterns for global deployment.
• Build and mentor a premier AI engineering team, supporting around‑the‑clock delivery and innovation.
• Act as spokesperson for Micron’s IT Generative AI program with internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• 10+ years in software engineering or IT, with senior leadership experience in AI/ML or digital transformation.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams in regulated or security‑focused environments and implement governance frameworks.
• Servant‑leader demeanor with influence at C‑suite level.
