Senior Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Senior Purchasing Manager will lead commercial negotiations, manage strategic suppliers and issue purchase orders while monitoring supplies. The role also includes handling imports, international shipments and collaborating with engineering, production, quality and finance teams to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Oversee strategic supplier relationships.
• Issue and track purchase orders.
• Monitor supply levels and ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle imports and international shipping processes.
• Collaborate with internal interfaces (engineering, production, quality, finance).
• Lead efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (relevant field) required.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in industry, working with suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• Experience in global manufacturing environments such as electronics, EMS, or multidisciplinary firms (e.g., Flex, Sanmina).
• Proven experience managing import and international shipping processes.
• Background in purchasing components or technological products.
• High level of English (reading, writing, speaking).

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Priority procurement system.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
