Junior Buyer

About the role

In this role you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high‑impact work across your area of expertise. You will manage supplier communication from purchase‑order confirmation through material receipt and support uninterrupted supply for manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier communication from PO confirmation through receipt and follow up on open purchase orders.
• Monitor shortages, expedite deliveries, and track supplier on‑time delivery performance.
• Coordinate return‑to‑vendor activities, including RMAs and repairs.
• Support resolution of invoice discrepancies and receiving issues with finance and warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in ERP systems and report KPI metrics.
• Escalate critical supply‑chain risks and delivery concerns to senior buyers.
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, engineering, quality and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, planning or vendor scheduling.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
