About the role
NXP Israel is seeking a Senior Physical Design Leader for MCU to lead complex SoC architecture development at the Yokneam site.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of internal and external physical design engineers.
- Own all physical design activities including synthesis, place‑and‑route, physical verification, and static timing analysis.
- Collaborate closely with RTL teams on SDC and UPF creation.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional groups such as MSIP, CAD, and Packing for successful PD development.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of experience in SoC physical design for complex chips.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
- Independent yet a team player.
- BSc in Electrical Engineering (MSc is a plus).
Required skills
- Physical design flow expertise (synthesis, PNR, PV, STA).
- Experience with RTL, DV, MSIP, CAD integration.
- Knowledge of ultra‑low power physical design techniques.
